Day 02, Favorite Companion: Captain Jack Harkness

I haven’t been in the fandom for too long, but I feel like Jack is extremely underrated…or just forgotten. I’m the only person I’ve seen whose favorite companion is Captain Jack Harkness. Granted, I was immediately attracted to him by his charm (his name is the only pick-up line he ever needs, c’mon) but there was so much more to him. Jack was such a relief for me. Finally, a companion who knew what he was doing! Sometimes I felt like he knew more things than the Doctor. I also love how, unlike Ten, he doesn’t hesitate to kill someone/thing whose done the wrong thing. I wish he would have stayed long-term, but hey, eleven episodes and his own spin-off series is good enough!
